The month of February 2018 is another month of dividend income landing in my accounts. This money is used to help pay my expenses if it is needed. If the money is not needed, it is ALL used to purchase new investments to further increase my cash flow.

Nice pursuit! Why was it lower than last yr? Do u drip your stocks?
ReplyDeleteIm looking forward to getting my position in emera that high!
Keep it up
Cheers
Thanks for dropping by. I had a dividend from Potash Corporation of Saskatachewan last year which I did not have this year. I believe I sold prior after the record date, so that was my last dividend for Potash in February 2017. I had Cineplex this year which is less than the quarterly Potash dividend.
DeleteCominar REIT and Dream Office REIT both cut their distributions during the last year. I have a big position in Dream Office REIT.
Currently drip BNS and ENB only with transfer agents, Cominar REIT, and Enerplus. The Enerplus dividend is not big enough to purchase one share.

ReplyDeleteHope that it starts to grow in the future with a buy and hold mentality, as well as further contributions and increases!

Lanny,
DeleteThanks for dropping by. I do my best to buy and hold. The month of March and April should be really good.
Overall it was a good month! March with quarter dividends should look a lot better! Good luck!
