The month of May 2021 is now behind us.
During the month of May, COVID19 is still front and center in the news. Some places are talking about a possible fourth wave. More and more places are starting to relax their restrictions a little. The US / Canadian border remains closed due non-essential travel.
The stock market has been booming along and reaching new highs. This is quite surprising since we are in the biggest health pandemic (in my opinion) in history.
The price of a barrel of crude oil is currently trading near $70 per barrel for West Texas Intermediate.
Michigan governor says Enbridge's Line 5 is a "ticking timebomb". Line 5 is a pipeline that crosses the Straights of MacKinac waterways, which is part of the Great Lakes . Right now, Enbridge is continuing to operate their Line 5 pipeline.

Dividend Increases
There was no dividend increases in May 2021.
As of June 5, 2021 , the total value of the portfolio is $156649.47 . This is a 4.27% increase over last month's total.
The portfolio is estimated to produce an estimated $5741.33 in dividend income over the next 12 months. This is an decrease of $0.72 CAD , or 0.013%. Some of the dividends in the Canadian stocks section are paid in US dollars, which are converted to Canadian dollars.
